Tourism Blay
Blay is a French commune, located in the department of Calvados and the Basse-Normandie, populated habitants1 312 (the Blaviens).
The common Blay is located 12 km west of Bayeux and 7 km from Trévières in the Bessin, in the valley of the Tortonne.
Sights
- Cléronde Manor, built in 1639, entered historiques4 Monument.
- St. Peter's Church (thirteenth century, rebuilt in the nineteenth century). It was under the patronage of the abbey of Ardennes, Saint-Germain-la-Blanche-Herbe, in 1166 the French Revolution.It was probably built by the lords of the tenth century Molay in the Merovingian cemetery used in the eighth and ninth centuries.
- Mill on the River Ridel. It was corn mill, cider mill and sawmill.
