Appoigny

This pleasant city located in the Yonne department is well known for its church dating from the 13th century which has a rare jube.

The village has also many wash houses. On the banks of the Yonne, one can see the castle of Regennes rebuilt instead of the one Auxerre bishops. A viewpoint indicator installed at the highest peak of Appoigny in Tertre.

The Collegial church of Saint-Pierre of Appoigny is listed historical monument, built around the 13th century by the same builders who made the cathedral of Auxerre.
