The Wooden Zoo musters some 400 pieces and scenes in natural branches with living forms.

These branches were removed from the surrounding nature and were simply installed in a fitting setting. You will rediscover life scenes, characters, animals, sports, old trades, etc...

A unique art in France which gave to its creator Emile Chaudron a national renown since his work was showed in many exhibitions through the country (Deauville, Canes, Lyon, Biarritz etc. ..) and received several prices.

Situé in Prez-sous-Lafauche, the museum is opened in July and August. Out season visits are reserved to the groups.
Closed on Monday.

Founded at the early 60's, the museum of the branches is unique.
For this reason, Emile Chaudron always refused to sell any piece.

Discover a display cabinet representing the Castle of Lafauche, as well as model furniture, work of Henri Chaudron, father of the creator.

The prehistorical site of the Fort Bévaux is spread on several hectares, and his occupation dates back to the neolithic era.

Sheltered by a big forest, the tracks of the human occupation spread on the edge of the plateau and hang on to its slopes, leaving you discover enclosed and old habitats, but also nécropole and dolmens and several  éperons.

Workshops are organised to learn about the ancestral techniques and explain the manner in which lived our ancestors.
