Auxonne is a commune located in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Burgundy.

Auxonne is a green city as the nature surrounding it is respected and preserved, different types of holidays are possible here thanks to the Crochères forest and the river Saône.

Auxonne is a stop over for many amateur yachtsman, thanks to its great water based recreation area allowing many activities such as sailing, kayaking, rowing, water skiing... Each year hundred of holiday makers  enjoy the fireworks taking place on the Saône river banks on the 14th of July.
