Wonders of the past
To begin the first day, you will go to a wonderful castle before learning the former job.
Castle Najac
Built from 1253, the castle Najac is a masterpiece of military architecture of the thirteenth century. On entering, you will find such a large model and understand how this castle was, for its time, a marvel. From the terrace you have a magnificent view over the Aveyron and the village. Moreover, you can stop briefly in this village which retains vestiges of fortifications or even of medieval houses.
Belcastel
You will discover the ancient crafts of Aveyron village. Blacksmith in his life setting to clog with the tools he used through the Aveyron fisherman who used a flat-bottomed boat and nets. The Louvre in Aveyron
The "little Louvre of Aveyron" and royal bastide are featured in this second day.
Sauveterre-de-Rouergue
The royal bastide Sauveterre will win over to you if you are looking for beauty, serenity and authenticity. You can stroll through the streets of their neighborhoods checkerboard discover its half-timbered houses or walls. Stop by the gigantic Place des Arcades which demonstrates the obvious prosperity of the city in the sixteenth century. It still houses shops.
Rodez
Enter the Fenaille Museum, also called "little Louvre of Aveyron." It has the oldest and largest collection of statue-menhirs of western Europe. By entering, you will discover the history of Rouergue (Aveyron current) - 300 000 BC in the seventeenth century. You can then visit the Cathedral and its bell tower and then stroll through the Old Rodez.

A day of the Middle Ages
The third day of this tour allows you to discover two masterpieces from the Middle Ages.
Abbey of Sainte-Foy de Conques
The Abbey of Sainte-Foy de Conques is a masterpiece of Romanesque art in the south of France. You will go inside the church and you know the history of Conques and stained glass work of Pierre Soulages. Then, stroll through the narrow streets to discover an exceptional heritage inherited from the Middle Ages. You will walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims of Saint Jacques de Compostela.
Castle of Calmont d'Olt
The Castle of Calmont d'Olt overlooking the Lot Valley. On entering, you will see a perfect illustration of the defense in the Middle Ages. With animations, you will discover how a trebuchet, a bomb, a crossbow, a bow, a stick on fire. You also have a unique view on Espalion and Aubrac.

We offer two castles in the program of the fourth day.
Saint Côme d'Olt
Go to one of the most beautiful villages of France, Saint Côme d'Olt. You can start by visiting the Penitents chapel, built in the eleventh century. A beautiful building with a roof shaped hull vessel overturned. Then, stroll through the old core of the village where the houses of the fifteenth and sixteenth century where major owners of the Aubrac came to rest. You can make a detour by the Church of St. Cosmas and St. Damian, places where lies the heart of Bishop Frayssinous, Peer of France, Minister of State under Charles X. Flamboyant style building.
Levezou
Lévézou, crystalline plateau, is a place that will satisfy lovers of hiking, water sports, swimming or history. For hiking enthusiasts, over 600 km of marked trails suitable for everyone. For those who prefer to discover the heritage, you can go to Micropolis, the city of insects, Saint Léons (to find insects in their natural universe). Alternatively, you can also go to one of the many medieval castle. We advise you in two: the Castle-de-Lévézou Vézins built in a horseshoe at the top of the promontory, with a unique architecture.

The most beautiful villages of France
For the fourth day, you will explore two castles.
The castle of Castelnau-Pégayrols
The castle of Castelnau-Pégayrols dominates throughout the southern Rouergue. On entering, you will discover the castle of the Lords room, kitchen and terrace fortified.
Castle Coupiac
Castle Coupiac you will discover the daily life of the fifteenth to the eighteenth century, through numerous exhibitions (the ages, costumes, calligraphy, music, games). This is one of the last intact castles of the Counts of Rodez. In the village, you can also stop at the museum Rural wood or Chapel of the Holy Veil, half Romanesque, half Gothic. Walking in the streets, you will be amazed by the washing of Telon or the front of the house Marty.

Millau don't smell bad
For the last day of this tour, you will go to the discovery of Roquefort before seeing the viaduct all records
The cellars of Roquefort
Your visit will begin with an interactive model that will explain the origin of the mountain Combalou which can give the famous Roquefort. Then, after discovering a film presentation, you can enjoy the true Roquefort. Then stop in the center of Roquefort-sur-Soulzon. You enter in the parish church of the nineteenth century. At the entrance of the hall, you will see a fresco representing Nicolai Greschny legend of Roquefort.
Millau
Enter this town and discover burial sites formed in caves and dolmens spread over the limestone. Stop in front of the two arches of the Pont-Vieux and the tower of the late twelfth century that reflect life in the Middle Ages. Take a detour to the famous Millau viaduct.
