The castle of Najac is a royal fortress located in the commune of Najac, in the department of Aveyron. It was built in 1253 by Alphonse of Poitiers and Saint-Louis's brother, on the foundation of an old castle, the square tower, built in 1100 by Bertrand de Saint-Gilles.
