Castle of Pesteils

The Castle of Pesteils is located in a remarkable site on a rocky headland looming over Polminhac and the Cère Valley.

The frescoes dating from the 15th century, the painted ceilings from the 17th century, the furnitures, the tapestries, the paintings remind the history and the past in this house. The 40 m high dungeon has a great view on the Mounts of Cantal. The park and terraces offer one of the most beautiful views on the region.

Castel of Vixouze

The castle of Vixouze is listed as a historical monument. The outside of the castle is open to public between July and August only. The building is dating from the 15th and 18th centuries and the origin goes back to 923.

Saint-Victor Church
