Sourdeval is a commune located in the Manche department in the Basse-Normandie region, in the heart of the Bocage Normand, near the Orne and the Calvados.

The panoramic viewpoint of Chaulieu

Sourdeval has kept its authenticity and charm. The panoramic viewpoint and the view point indicator of Chaulieu are perched at 368 m high and offers amazing views on the mounts and the bay.

Indeed, there are more than 100 km of paths such as the GR 22 (Paris - Le Mont St-Michel) or the 'Voie verte' (a former railway).
