Autrans in summer

Family walks or high elevation hiking, Autrans offers kilometres of marked trails maintained with the help of the Natural Regional Vercors Park.

Situated at 1,050m altitude, Autrans offers a landscape typical of the Vercors : large open rolling hillside pastures surrounded by forests of pine and beech trees, dispersed by isolated hamlets.

Highest point : 1,709 m in Charande on the Molière mountain crest.

Mountain biking in Autrans

150kms of MTB trails endorsed by the FFC, all ability levels are catered for to provide suitable profiled rides through forests, mountain pastures and singletracks. You will find maps of the mountain bike trails at the tourist offices, bike wash facilities, bike hire and repair shop and a guide office to propose accompanied tours.

Autrans and Méaudre are part of the signed route of the GTV (Grande Traversée du Vercors) which can be completed by mountain bike. A “topo guide” edited by the “Parc Naturel Régional du Vercors” is for sale at the Tourist Office, 6,50€.
