Parc Le Donjon des Aigles

The Dungeon is located in the Eagle Castle Beaucens, in a medieval castle dating back over 10 centuries in the Hautes-Pyrenees. This building is a place to live for a very large collection of owls and butterflies that come from around the world: vultures, eagles, kites, hawks and many others are awaiting visitors. It is possible to photograph the different species. With a visit to the Dungeon of the Eagles, visitors can learn a lot about the 50 species. The birds are almost all free. In the afternoon, a wonderful show will be offered to the audience. These beautiful birds will be presented and will fly on a beautiful music. It is thus possible to admire the technique of affaitage, in other words the training of these birds, whose watchwords are patience and gentleness.
