Green lanes of Gaves

Since Pierrefitte-Nestalas 2 Green lanes leave.

The first a length of 17 kms (minimum Altitude 440 meters with an uneven maximum with total of 26 meters) makes it possible to go to Lourdes while crossing the Valley of Gaves and by circumventing Adast, Lau-Balagnas, Argelès-Gazost, Ayzac-Ost and Agos-Vidalos. It is accessible to the walkers, cyclists, rollers and people with reduced mobility.

The second a length of 9,200 kms (minimum Altitude 465 meters, maximum Altitude 950 meters) called “the way of the travellers” brings you to Cauterets by the throats while crossing an enlightened tunnel and the footbridge of Meyabat. The pedestrians have priority there and the tolerated VTT.

Only, accompanied or in family come to taste with the pleasure of trotting you on the Green lanes of Gaves: The amateurs of VTT will pedal on the Green lane Pierrefitte-Cauterets while the Green lane Pierrefitte-Lourdess will accomodate the cyclists, the rollers and the people with reduced mobility.
