Le Sentier des Ocres

This is one of the most renowned Luberon sites. Exploited until 1930, ocher quarries of Roussillon are now used for tourism.

A path was conceived at the heart of these cliffs " blood and bold ". From February to December, we can walk in the multicolored quarries and learn a little more on their formation and their exploitation.

In the village of Roussillon, you can find the Ochre Conservatory  that replaces the old ocher factory Mathieu.The conservatory suggests learning it a little more on the ochre manufacturing.
