Le musée du pays d'Ussel
The Museum of the Pays d'Ussel opened in 1976. It is dedicated to the history, art and traditions of the Ussel.
The museum is located in parts. At the hotel Bonnot de Bay, 12 Rue Michelet, find yourself the arts and popular traditions. The Printing Office, 18 rue Michelet, propose you to discover the lithographic and letterpress. The Moncourier-Beauregard House, 4 rue de la Montagne, is the witness of ussellois habitat under the old regime. The Penitents Chapel, Old church Pasteur cimetériale Saint-Martial, houses the collections of art and religious ethnography.

Every day from May 18th to July 13rd: 2pm-6pm (The Chapel of the Penitents is closed, visit by appointment for groups).
From July 14th to September 1st: 2pm-6pm daily.
From September 2nd to 29th: 2pm-6pm except Tuesday (Chapel of the Penitents is closed on Tuesdays and Sundays)
