Musée du Septennat de François Mitterrand


The « Musée du Septennat » is housed on a former Sainte-Marie convent built in the 18th century and opened its doors 1986. It houses officials gifts and people host by President François Mitterand. The collection gathers gifts from many représentatives from different countries around the world with whom the president has diplomatic relations as well as as coming from France and diverse institutions. These gifts are often very fine objects and are coming from renowned sites.
