Show in etang sur arroux

The Sporting Club Etangois is offering the 26th Edition of the Strongest Man in Morvan and the 8th 
edition of the Strongest Woman in Morvan.

Our competition for the strongest man in Morvan began in 1997 in Etang sur Arroux. Basically, it was 
leaders of the village football club who wanted to measure their strength by lifting sandbags.

The competition was therefore created and on June 8, 1997, the first edition of the strongest man in 
Morvan took place and the participants, mainly farmers from the region and football players from the 
club, competed in pairs where nearly 400 spectators showed up for the meeting at the municipal stadium.
