Le Grand Blockhaus

Le Grand Blockhaus is dedicated to the Second World War. Inside the museum , visitors can discover the history of the Pocket of Saint-Nazaire, one of the last areas liberated in May 1945 .

Tourists roam the scenographic 300m² . They also discover all the local history during the war . The museum has numerous objects, such as a 240mm cannon rail . On this tour , travelers can admire lighthouses and offshore islands. Inside the museum, 12 scenes are reconstructed . You can also see a period film .
