Château de La Motte

The castle of La Motte is located in the 7th arrondissement of Lyon, left bank, in the Rhone department. It stands near the junction of ancient roads from the east and south of Lyon, near the border between the Dauphiné and the Lyonnais. It occupies a small hill that put him away in floods and assured him good visibility before the urbanization of the area of Guillotière.
