Tourism Fanjeaux

Fanjeaux is situated in the department of the Aude and the region Languedoc-Roussillon. Fanjeaux is a situated town on a rocky promontory to 360 m of altitude, to 25 km of Carcassonne on the national former road 119 between Montreal and Mirepoix. The city marks southeastern limit of the Lauraguais. In Fanjeaux are held all the months of July since 1965 of the symposia on the religious history of the medieval Midi. These symposia are published to the editions Privat in the collection of the Notebooks of Fanjeaux.
