In 1150, the Agen became a British possession after marriage Alenor of Aquitaine to Henry, Duke of Normandy. The Agen knew then abuses by soldiers from all sides: English, French and Toulouse. Then the Treaty of Amiens in 1277 finally made it a British possession. Valencia was a tiny village where they held a market
