Saint Mihiel is a northeast city, administrative center of district of the department of the Meuse, on the Meuse. Opened on the regional natural Park of Lorraine and on the Wind of the Forests, Saint Mihiel occupies a preserved site and declines all the heritgae of a passed history. It has its name to the holy archangel Michel that is the protective saint of the town to that is dedicated the Benedictine abbey. the current structures date back to the XVIIIth century.
