Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry is situated in the department of the Pyrenees Atlantic and the region Aquitaine. This town is border with Spain to the west. It is situated in the Basque province of Low Navarre. It is one of the most typical villages of the Basque Country.
The town is part of the zone of production of the vineyard of Irouléguy. The activity principally is agricultural.
The month of April is the cultural month of Baigorri, the point of organ of this traditional event is situated the last Sunday of this month with Nafarroaren Eguna (the day of the Navarre). A prehistoric camp is situated to the place Lamotainpareta and fortifications, are present to the place Quarraquey.
