Tourism Pouzauges


Pouzauges is located in the department of the Vendée and the Pays area of the Loire. The city is in the South of the Loire in the Vendean Bocage. It is located on a 285 height m hill, Puy Crapaud. Pouzauges is called Pearl or Queen of the High Bocage. Hung to hillside, it stretches gently downwards with the district of the Pouzauges Old man. Its habitat seeming suspended with the relief, Pouzauges is anchored perfectly within a natural framework, rich and full with mystery. Between hills and sunken lanes, 53 marked out paths of 4 with 22km, the evocative names such as the Circuits of the Mills, the Path of Hugenots or that of the Manors are available .
