Tourism Limoges: The capital of Porcelaine
Limoges is located in west central France and is the capital of the Haute-Vienne department and the administrative capital of the Limousin. It is built on high ground overlooking the river Vienne.
Limoges's porcelain is well represented in the Musée Adrien-Dubouché. The collection includes local products and porcelain from around the world, as well as various celebrity services ordered for Napoléon, French royals and Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
Limoges is a city of gardens and green spaces (the park Thuillat Victor, the Rose Garden). The banks of the Vienna are also very nice for hiking and cycling.
Visitors arriving by train can start by visiting the train station! Indeed, the Benedictine’s station is a model of art nouveau architecture that places the train station among the most beautiful train stations in Europe.
