Tourism Les Sybelles

An association of 10 ski resorts in the Maurienne a common acronym. Created in the early 1990s, then had Sybelles purpose the promotion stations Maurienne and the creation of a large ski related.

It is only in December 2003 that Sybelles dream come true, with the creation of the 3rd French ski resort, totaling 310km of linked pistes, on the stations of Saint-Sorlin d'Arves, Saint-Jean-d ' Arves, Le Corbier, La Toussuire, Les Bottières and Saint-Colomban-des-Villards. At these stations also those related addition of Albiez-le-Jeune Albiez-Montrond and which offer a small area of 45km of pistes, projecting an affair with the area near the station Karellis.

The domain Sybelles culminates at 2620m altitude in the commune of Saint Sorlin d'Arves, on top of Perron. The lowest point is at 1100m altitude in the resort of St. Columban Villards. The interconnection of the 6 stations are carried atop the Ouillon at 2431m.

It is within Sybelles charming villages such as Saint-Alban-des-Villards, The Bottières or The Jarrier, but also stations built from scratch in the sixties as Le Corbier and La Toussuire. Finally there are stations in villages like Saint Sorlin d'Arves Saint Jean d'Arves, in Albiez-Montrond and Saint Colomban des Villards. From the top of the tracks and Corbier Saint-Sorlin can see the Aiguilles d'Arves.
