Tourism Epernay
Epernay is internationally known like the Capital of Champagne. This sumptuous site, its vines and its cellars, accomodate each year nearly 450.000 visitors who, for half, come from the whole world. Epernay is thus by nature in the center of an international significant market. Epernay, "Cité fleurie", presents a downtown area rich of history, related to the development of the production and export of this marvellous wine of festival. District of the large production companies and the wine trade, it is bordered of many private mansions of the XIXe century, of Renaissance style or Traditional. Classified in 1994 among the 100 Remarkable Sites of the Taste in France, this avenue acquired a world famous. Moreover, located in the middle of the vineyard and the forests, bordered by the Marne and crossing by the Tourist Road of Champagne, Epernay profits from a remarkable natural environment.
