Côtes d’Armor is a French department located in the Brittany region. It is surrounded by the department of the Finistere, the Morbihan and the Ille-et-Vilaine. The main attraction for tourists is the Channel (La Manche) and its varied coastlines offering numerous beaches located between hills ad cliffs. The pink granite coast has big rocks of exceptional colour. In front of it, the Seven Islands are the refuge of the biggest ornithological reserve in France. In addition, remarkable sites such as Cap Frehel or the Fort-la-Latte are located on the pink granite coast. The Brehat archipelago shelters an outdoor tropical plants reserve. There are many historical and architectural attractions with medieval cities such as Dinan or Moncontour, old chapels and castles such as Rosambo, la Roche-Jagu or even Tonquédec, as well as the Treguier and Saint-Brieuc Cathedral.
Numerous outdoor activities are possible throughout the year. In addition of water sports, the Argoat paths are great for walking or cycling. One can also do paragliding or scuba diving in Perros-Guirec.
