Cavaillon is a French commune, located in the department of Vaucluse and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
Near the natural reserve of Luberon, the geographical situation of Cavaillon is ideal. At the crossroads of many routes, we can easily travel around the region and see the picturesque landscapes of Provence.
At the heart of the city is the St Jacques's hill, which offer to its visitors the possibility of walking in a charming scrubland and overhanging the plain of Apt, the Luberon and the Alpilles.
You can also stroll in its old districts, discover its former houses, its small streets and its flowered squares. There is also one of the most beautiful synagogue in Europe, built at the end of the Middle Ages, at the image of the Jewish heritage that keeps the city.
Its local farmers 'markets testify of the wealth of its soil. Cavaillon is best known for being the capital of melon
