Beaune, walled city, is a sub prefecture in the district of Beaune and is located in the department of Côte-d'Or.
The city is particularly known as the wine capital of Burgundy, by the presence of a large number of merchants and wine producers, but also by the presence of the famous Hospices de Beaune and their auction.
This city has a rich architectural and historical heritage which is distributed among splendid flower-lined streets.
