Tourism Annot
Annot is situated in the department of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The city center (church Saint-Jean-Baptiste, formerly Saint-Pons) is constructed on a rocky spur situated between the torrents of the Vaïre and Beïte. The medieval walls are always visible, doors are preserved and give access to the old town. The high houses encircling the city include the former defenses and mark the trace of the medieval city. To Vérimande are located equally a chapel "Templière" as well as the House of the Templier, a big batisse with a tower of pigeon house.
