Malesherbes

Malesherbes enjoys a good geographical situation, between the Beauce, Brie and Gatinais regions. River Essone also flows through it and it has a great green belt thanks to its parks and castles near the forest of Fontainebleau.

The castle of Malesherbes has hosted many King of France of whom Henri IV, Charles V and Louis XIV. The castle is now privately owned and onmy the park is accessible some days.

The fortified castle of Rouville is dating from the 15th century. It is privately owned by the Counts of Aboville family.

It is opened from the 1st of May until the 30th of October, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays between 10 am and 12 and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

It is located on the banks of river Essonne.

A 3500 m2 private garden, located in the city centre between the Town Hall and the church.
