The Lioran
The Lioran ski resort is located in the heart of the Cantal Mountains and the biggest volcano in Europe.
In winter, the resort, the largest in Auvergne, offers the opportunity to enjoy activities such as snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice skating, cable car trip to the 'Plomp du Cantal' as well as numerous events and entertainments.
In summer, the Lioran resort becomes a haven for rambling and mountain biking. Also major events such as the 'Montée Auvergnate' (a motocross race) and the 'Fete de la Montagne et de la Chasse' take place each summer.
