Francescas founded by Edward the 1st of England
This village, founded en 1286 by Edward the 1st of England, has preserved its medieval aspect with its covered squares and half timbered houses, as well as the vestiges of the Hire mansion, the then Lord and famous companion of Joan of Arc.
To see: the church dating from the 13th century with its beautiful galleries and the 'Musée de la Boîte en Fer-Blanc'.

Nérac, charming town on the banks of River Baïse
This charming town located on the banks of River Baïse was the territory of the Albret Family where Henri of Navarre, future king Henri IV spend his childhood and where he goes back to in 1576.
In the 16th century, the town became an important protestant site culturally and spiritually at the "Vert Galant's" grand mother's and mother's request.
Things to see:The Renaissance castle housing the Albret Museum, the Royal park of the Garenne extended by queen Margot, with very old trees, the St Nicolas church dating from the 18th century, the Conference House and the Romas House.
