Biscarrosse

Located near the forest, lakes and 10 min for the Ocean, Biscarosse-Ville counts 10,000 inhabitants and is the administrative and commercial centre of the commons.

By foot: Along the 125 kms of footpaths, you will discover every natural aspects of Biscarosse. The great diversity of these 16 footpaths will lead you to the forest, lakes and lush lagoons.

By bike: The entire Aquitaine region has many cycling tracks. In Biscarosse, 30 km of tracks link the Pyla Dune and the basin of Arcachon in the north and the south of the department.

By horse: Two riding schools propose to beginners and to advanced riders a tour in the forest and around the lakes. For children, the ponies are held on a leash by an accompanying adult.

Between the centre of Biscarosse-Plage and the beach, there is only 200 meters of pedestrian area. In addition, the beaches are patrolled by lifeguards, which make this place very safe for the whole family.
