The Castel of Montsalvy
The castle of Montsalvy was built on former city walls after they were used no more as defenses. This Bourgeois house has a tower dating from the 18th century hence the title of castle.

Medieval gates
This medieval city is protected by city walls. The gates give access to the city and every night the portcullis is lowered and the double doors blocked. Montsalvy was a stop over city between Aurillac and Rodez

The monks dinning-hall
This building was used as a dinning hall for the monks. The inscription 'Vive le Roi' (or long live the King), discovered on a wall is the evidence of the fidelity of the monks of Montsalvy to the King of France.

The Saint-Gaubert cloister
