Museum of the cow and the mountain pastures
At the gates of Haute-Savoie, in FRANGY close to the river the Usses, you will discover in an old restored stable, an extraordinary collection of the objects, testimony of the country popular art. Pieces of furniture, bells, slaps and butter prints, cheese drainers, moulds with cheeses, tools, potteries. Reconstitution and setting in scene of a country cottage of the mountain pasture, with its material of dairy and a dwelling cattle shed with its benches trunks and its beds half-close and a room temporary exhibitions.

The river the Usses is known for its rain mode and its torrential character on most of its linear. It takes its source on the southern slope of the Salève Mount and is thrown in the Rhone, just upstream of the dam Seyssel. After having furiously circumvented the Salève Mount, it gains the throats of the Bridge of Ruail, tourist curiosity, and assagit then to the estuary of the Rhone.
