With around a hundred concerts each season, the Musicalta Festival—celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026—travels across the entire Pays de Rouffach, Vignobles et Châteaux region.

Bringing music to rural areas at a level of excellence comparable to that of major cities—that was the bold challenge taken up by a handful of musicians in 1996.

Musicalta is, above all, a daring festival held away from traditional cultural hubs. It is also a platform for internationally renowned artists who have been part of the adventure for years across the region.

For 30 years, the event has also served as a place of learning, welcoming several hundred students from around the world.

Since 1996, Musicalta has transformed the region each summer, drawing thousands of spectators into the heart of an exceptional heritage in the Pays de Rouffach, with its vineyards and castles.
