From 18 to 20 October 2013, the Paris Burlesque Festival returns to Bellevilloise (19-21 rue Boyer - Paris 20th) with the cream of the international contemporary burlesque scene for a 5th edition very festive !
After the Fiesta de la Muerte (4th edition) , which celebrated the end of the world foretold by the Mayans in 2012, the festival proposes to create a new world with boldness , humor and glamor!
Established in 2009, the Paris Burlesque Festival held every year more than sixty artists from around the world and nearly 4,000 spectators for three days dedicated to this major art both feminine and feminist, glamor and subversive. In five years, the Paris Burlesque Festival has established itself internationally as a landmark event . Traditional retro leaf removal , the legacy of Parisian cabarets of the late nineteenth century , the New Burlesque ( or neo- burlesque ) came from contemporary America, the festival offers a rich program that lets us see all the nuances of this movement.
For its fifth edition, the Paris Burlesque Festival gives his vision of a new world inspired by world cinema series Z. A post-nuclear civilization invaded Bellevilloise . Pinup wild , wacky aliens and war steampunk reinterpret freely Barbarella , Planet of the Apes , and Mad Max Mars Attacks .
