Musée Jean de la Fontaine

Located in Château-Thierry, Jean de la Fontaine Museum is the birth place of the famous French poet. He sold the house in 1676, when he was 55 years old to find the literary fame in Paris.

Became a museum in 1876, the town of Chateau-Thierry in 2008 began restoration work. Note that the establishment has the label museum in France and houses Illustrious.
