Musée de l'Éphèbe
The museum of the youth is in the department of Herault in Languedoc-Rousillon. This is a museum of underwater archeology that owns the collection of ancient bronzes the largest in France. The collections are arranged by theme.
In the modern department, visitors can admire medieval pottery, pieces of arms of the royal fleet and other items dating from the 12th to 19th centuries.
In the part dedicated to ancient objects is related to maritime commerce, the Greek city and the ships built in this period. A mosaic is exposed and shows a scene special property: the judgment of Marsyas.
A department is devoted to bronzes and this particular one of his most famous pieces: Ephèbe d'Agde is a beautiful Greek bronze discovered in 1964 and whose creation dates back to 4th century BC.
Finally, a place called Inventors Hall has other treasures found in the seabed in the region.
