Bach concert in bayeux

Masterpieces of Baroque music: Sonatas and Partitas for organ and recorder (Bach, Corelli, Froberger).

Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon and at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, B. Delale and B. Brejon de Lavergnée perform their transcriptions of the famous Trio Sonatas by J.S. Bach as a duo. They alternately accompany them with several masterpieces from the solo repertoire for keyboard or flute. The music of Johann Sebastian Bach is compared with that of Johann Jakob Froberger and Arcangelo Corelli, who strongly influenced him, and that of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, his most direct legacy. To make you discover this virtuoso and lively repertoire, the ensemble "Ici en deux" will be in concert at 8:30 p.m. at the Saint-Patrice church in Bayeux on August 25, at the Saint-Romain church in Étréham on August 26, and at the Saint-Pierre church in Caen on August 27.
