Tourism Turenne
Turenne is located in the department of Corrèze and in the Limousin region. This medieval site is ranked among the most beautiful villages of France.
The city is located on the top of a steep hill which gives it a strategic position, not to mention the town is situated at the crossroads of three regions: Limousin, Périgord and Quercy.
Back in time, it was the capital of a viscount, who was led by famous noblemen of the French history.
Today, visitors can linger in beautiful medieval streets that lead to the castle, a building that the population of Turenne try to preserve .
