Tourism Saxon-Sion
Saxon Sion is situated in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle and the region Lorraine. Saxon Sion possesses on its territory the hill of Sion that inspired Maurice Barrès for his novel The inspired hill. A worship marial old is celebrated on the hill, on which was edified the basilica Notre-Dame de Sion. November 8 2003, a due fire to a current circuit electric ravages the basilica steeple necessitating the dismount of a monumental statue of the Virgin Mary.
