Eure is a French department that is part of the Haute-Normandie region. It is surrounded by the departments of Seine-Maritime, Oise, Val-d'Oise, Yvelines, Eure-et-Loir, Orne and Calvados. Main cities are Evreux, Vernon, Louviers, Andelys et Bernay.

Eure has few sites that are spectacular such as the Château-Gaillard near Andelys or the Pointe de la Roque overlooking the River Seine estuary. Eure benefits from having large forests and typical countrysides with green valleys a medium or small sized towns that have manage to keep their authenticity and charm. There are Castles and unique gardens in France such as Harcourt, harmonious landscapes of the Valley of the Seine or the most beautiful beech grove in Europe. Eure offers all shade of greens in its landscape, the green of the rivers, of the golf courses, the linen crops and pasturelands. The environmental awareness in the Eure department offers protection to wildlife species such as wild orchid, white storks and hawks.
