Châtillon-sur-Seine, as the name suggests, is a city that is bisected by the Seine. It is located at the north of the department of Cote d'Or, region of Burgundy. It is surrounded by large forests, and it's the city with the most people in this department.
It represents the heart of Châtillonnais, which is a group of 113 communes. This city is a city of flowers, but it also received the label of the Most beautiful detours in France.
Historically, Châtillon-sur-Seine was inhabited at the time pre-Celtic and Celtic, so it is possible to contemplate a number of relics. In the Middle Ages the city was divided into two parts, one called Chaumont and the other Le Bourg. The city had to wait until 1638, for the reunification of the two entities.
