Tourism Cavillargues
Cavillargues is located in the Gard region of the Rhone, in the hollow of a fertile valley watered by the Auzigue. It is administratively attached to the Languedoc Roussillon while sharing cultural identity of Provence nearby.
If the ancient city walls were destroyed in 1793, the two castles that were part of these fortifications have them restored, the castle of the Fare rebuilt in 1570 has a Renaissance façade and a spiral staircase, the Nicolay Castle, built from 1590 has two round towers, stairway ramp and a monumental gate Renaissance.
