Tourism Albert
Albert is located at the North-East of the department of Somme and region Picardie, with intersection of the river Ancre and the old Roman way connecting Amiens (to 30 km) to Bapaume (to approximately 20 km) today the secondary road 929. Albert disposes a station of train on the line Paris - Lille, and since 2007, an airport, Airport Albert-Pica.
Albert was stake of terrible combat at the time of the Battle of the Summe during the First World War.
