'Sucs' and tradition

A 12 km trek among the 'sucs', that are old dormant volcanoes.
Once to the summit of the Suc des Ollières, there is a great view and a rock climbing site.
Also, there is the 'Art and Traditions populaires de Versilhac' museum presenting old habitat, lace and traditional customs.

The gorges of Lignon

The Lignon flows in a sunken valley and is crossed by suspension bridges and an old railway. There is an old Romanesque bridge of the Sainte river and the Sainte-Marguerite chapel.
It is possible to discover the vestiges of the Saint Martial Castle looming over the Gorges of Lignon by walk. A great view from the bell tower of Lapte called 'le balcon du Velay'.
The afternoon will be spent at the lake of Lavalette: pedalo, rowing, sailing...
