The lot valley

Also called 'little Venice' thanks to its location on a peninsula between the Lede and the Lot.

There are beautiful half-timbered- houses to see, The banks of the River Lede, the church dating from the 12th century with listed frescoes.

A water sport centre is located here. Thing to see are: The Templar Commandery dating from the 12th century, Latour-Marliac a waterlilly nursery famous around the world.

The village lives on the tourism based on river activities and the Lalande port. An ideal place for nice walks. Things to see are: The town Hall of a moorish style dating from the 19th century. And of course boat trips on the river, a great way to discover the beautiful natural surroundings.

Village founded in 1281. Nice walks on the banks of the river are among the nice things to do and things to see are the Saint Damien church with a listed altar and the Prune Museum.

Things to see: Saint Nicolas church and its bell tower's door dating from the 14th century, the Sainte Foy church and its gothic style frescoes.

Perched at 217 m high, the basilica looms over this fortified village dating from the 12th century. Built on the slope of the vineyard, it was once almost destroyed during the crusades against the 'Albigeois' and religious wars.

Stop over on the Jacquaires paths. Visit of the park around the old castle, the botanic garden, the lake and of course the basilica Notre-Dame de Peyragude (Our Lady of Peyragude) dating from the 19th century.
