The village of Monflanquin: Looming over the valley reminding Tuscany, the village of Monflanquin is inviting. It was created in 1252 by Alphone of Poitiers, Count of Toulouse and Saint Louis 's brother.
The fortified castle of Gavaudun is a mjor historical site of the Agen region. The 70 m high dungeon is impressive and has 6 floors reminding cathar castles. Located at the entrance of the Lede valley, it used to control the main road linking Perigord to Agen.
