Vianne has its origins in the thirteenth century. Originally, the walls protected the citadel. With a heritage highly preserved, Vianne has developed around its glass industry, its river port and the many art professionals installed within its walls. The village has a festive night market during the summer.

Buzet-sur-Baise stretches the wide plain where the River Baise joins the Garonne. Ideally located in the heart of the "côtes de Buzet," the city of Buzet gave its name to the wine produced in northern Pays d'Albret.
